The Newborn Screening Center-Mindanao, with the participation of the Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health-Mindanao Cluster and Philippine Pediatrics Society (PPS) - Southern Mindanao Chapter, held its 2nd Reunion of Saved Babies in the afternoon of November 5, 2012 at Abreeza Mall, Davao City. It was an afternoon of fun, laughter, games and NBS family bonding. The event was made more memorable as parents of children with the disorders shared their experiences and their families' journey as their childern grow up.

Of the confirmed cases that joined in the reunion, there were 1 child with Galactosemia, 3 children with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, 4 children with Phenylketonuria, 30 children with Congenital Hypothyroidism and 46 children with Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase Deficiency. With family members, friends and guests, a total of 261 people showed up and enjoyed the event.
