When will the 18th Newborn Screening (Virtual) Convention be held?
The 18th NBS Convention will be held on October 14-15 via an online app.
Day 1: October 14, 2020 (8:30am-12:00nn)
Day 2: October 15, 2020 (8:30am-12:00nn)

What are the topics that will be covered in this convention?

When is the registration period?
September 16 (8:00am)– October 13 (3:00pm)

How will I register?
Kindly click this link to register: http://bit.ly/NBSregistration2020. Please have your PRC ID (if applicable) with you while accomplishing the form.

After submission of required registration information, you will receive a confirmation email.

How much is the registration fee?
No registration fees will be collected. The convention is FREE as long as you are registered.

Do I earn professional credits for attending the convention?
Continuing professional development (CPD) units from PPS (3.5 units) and PAFP (8 units) will be awarded to the participants. CPD units have also been requested for the convention participants from PRC (for Physicians, Midwives, Nurses, Medical Technologists, Nutritionist-Dietitians, and Chemists). If the units are not yet available during the convention, participants may check the PRC (www.prc.gov.ph) or NSRC's website (www.newbornscreening.ph) for updates on the number of units approved.

Will you give a certificate of participation after the convention?
YES. Only the participants who watched the live 2-day event will receive a certificate as long as they answer the evaluation form and post-test per day.

The name you use in the registration form and post-test will appear in your Certificate of Participation. Attendance will be checked daily. The participants who missed either one of the two days will not receive a certificate.

I cannot join the webinar at the scheduled time. Can I view the webinar at a later time?
The convention is a live event but we will be recording the convention and will post selected video recordings online afterwards. We'll send out an email to all registrants 7-14 working days after the convention with a link to the videos.
