Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience : 3 years of relevant experience
  • Training : 16 hours of relevant training
  • Eligibility : Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Assists the Director in implementing University policies, procedural directives, rules and regulations;
  • Supervises and directs the performance of functions related to financial and budgeting management, procurement and property management, human resource management, and other administrative concerns;
  • Reviews, signs/countersigns, and certifies the correctness of activity proposals, request letters for funding, accounting, procurement, and human resource documents;
  • Directs the preparation and submission of performance ratings and targets of personnel, renewal documents for contractual, job order and consultants, and monthly reports;
  • Maintains liaison with other UP Manila offices/units, NSCs, and other external agencies regarding administrative, financial activities and programs;
  • Prepares Internal Operating Budget and implements control of expenditures;
  • Designs appropriate reporting formats, and develops procedures to streamline various administrative concerns of the office;
  • Assists and participates in administrative consultations, conferences, and meetings with policymakers and program partners; and
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.
